Greyhounds Australasia Launch Website With More Byte

Greyhounds Australasia (GA) announced today, that its revamped website is now live.

The website using the existing domain name of www.galtd.org.au offers the industry a vibrant and fresh looking, easy to use, electronic communication tool.

In launching the new site GA Chief Executive Officer Craig Taberner said, “The websites development was the result of months of hard work and now presents people with the opportunity to learn more about GA and its role within the Australasian greyhound racing industry.”

“Participants can utilise an electronic service that keeps them abreast with national greyhound issues and at the same time ensures day to day dealings with GA staff remains simple.”

The site will maintain the latest national information on breeding, racing, industry statistics, GA services, rules, greyhound adoption and links to local and international greyhound websites.

Owners can click on the “name availability link” and generate a name request for GA staff to verify.

Breeders are able to use the DeoxyriboNucleic Acid (DNA) section to find out more about DNA or to download an application form.

Media and Control Bodies may consider going to the industry statistics area to benchmark industry information like number of meetings conducted, prize money distributed or registered participant totals.

Trainers may be interested in viewing the latest national racing rules.
